The Best Taco Rice
A quick, flavorful, and cheesy dish perfect for taco nights!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups Minute Rice (uncooked)
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Construction (How to Make It)
- Cook the Ground Beef:
- In a large skillet, cook and crumble the ground beef over medium heat.
- Drain excess grease.
- Season the Meat:
- Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet.
- Stir well and bring to a boil.
- Add the Rice:
- Stir in Minute Rice, making sure it’s fully mixed.
- Reduce heat, cover, and let cook for 5 minutes (or until rice is tender).
- Finish the Dish:
- Stir in salsa and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
- Turn off the heat and serve immediately.
