Why should we no longer flush the toilet after peeing?
In light of the above, if you flush the toilet after every trip, you’re flushing away 3 to 10 liters of water, which is a huge amount in a world suffering from water shortages. Is it really worth accelerating ecological disasters just to have a clean toilet? Isn’t it a terrible and unnecessary waste of waste?
Of course, many people think that the opposite would be a real sign of rudeness: we can’t even imagine peeing in someone else’s house and dirtying their toilet without flushing! It’s important to know, however, that the bathroom is one of the places in the house where we waste the most water, as a person urinates on average 6 times a day.
Given the global water shortage, flushing the toilet less frequently would be a significant and caring ecological gesture. Moreover, even though its odor may be repulsive, urine is nonetheless sterile and harmless. It will not cause any particular contamination. However, to avoid water jets, it is best to close the toilet seat when flushing. Otherwise, you spread germs from the toilet bowl throughout the bathroom. Therefore, you should always lower the lid and clean the room regularly.
Another important fact: flushing the toilet affects the temperature in your home. In winter, when the radiators are turned on, the water pressure drops and a temperature change occurs.
NB: It is important to mention that you should avoid keeping your toothbrush near the toilet bowl, as germs and bacteria can easily transfer to the brush that you put in your mouth daily.
Now, with all these details, you will surely think twice before flushing the toilet!
