We call ’em West Virginia Burnt Ends!

Instructions:

Preheat and Prep: Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Slice Hot Dogs: Cut hot dogs into thirds or quarters and place in prepared baking dish.

Combine Sauce Mixture: Mix BBQ sauce, yellow mustard, and liquid smoke. Pour over hot dogs.

Prepare Seasoning: Combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and ¼ cup brown sugar. Sprinkle over hot dogs.

Bake: Bake for 1 hour, tossing halfway through.

Caramelize: Sprinkle remaining ¼ cup brown sugar over hot dogs. Increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Bake for 10-15 minutes or until crispy.

Serve: Enjoy hot dog burnt ends!
