In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, salt, sweet smoked paprika, coriander, black pepper, dried garlic, egg yolks, and paneer breadcrumbs until well combined.
Add the finely chopped onion, green onions, diced tomatoes, and diced paprika to the mixture. Mix until evenly distributed.
Shape the mixture into balls the size of large walnuts, greasing your hands with butter if needed to prevent sticking.
Cook the meatballs:
Heat butter and vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the meatballs on both sides until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Alternatively, preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the fried meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes or until fully cooked and browned.
Prepare the creamy onion sauce:
In the same pan used to fry the meatballs, add more butter if necessary. Saute the finely chopped onion until golden brown.
Sprinkle the onions with flour and lightly toast them, stirring constantly.
Gradually pour in the warm cream, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve:
Drizzle the creamy onion sauce over the baked meatballs.
Enjoy your delicious cheesy meatballs with creamy onion sauce alongside your favorite side dishes!
