This mouth-watering dish was shown to us by our Hawaiian neighbor!

Preparation Steps:

Begin by piercing the pork all over with a fork or sharp knife, ensuring the flavors will permeate throughout the meat.

Massage the pork shoulder thoroughly with the Alaea sea salt, covering every inch.

Place the seasoned pork in your slow cooker and evenly distribute the liquid smoke over it.

Set your slow cooker to low and let it work its magic for about 16 hours, allowing patience to be your guide to flavor perfection.

Once done, the pork will be exceptionally tender, ready to be shredded with forks, with any excess fat removed for a leaner serving.
