On top of that, your charger is part of a larger team. Accompanying it is a wall outlet with many outlets or a power strip. These outlets become electrical disaster hotspots when nobody is there to protect them. Lightning, overheating, and circuit overload—oh my! No one should risk their lives on what amounts to a warped kind of electrical roulette.
We must not overlook the ecological consequences of this apparently innocuous deed. Considering how environmentally concerned people are become, it’s like giving Mother Earth a non-friendly shoulder shrug when you leave your phone’s charger plugged in without using it.
The amount of power being used is little, yet it adds up to the total amount that harms our world.

If you persist in leaving your charger plugged in, what consequences may follow? Well, when you really need to charge your gadget, you can find yourself in a real bind, on top of the possible fires, higher energy costs, and environmental guilt. Picture the scene:
you go for your charger, only to find that it has been sitting in the socket for so long that it’s worn out and misused. It’s like the proverbial “I’ll charge later” scenario: precisely when you need it most, your charger may decide to give up.
Make sure your charger doesn’t sit idly by the wall. To help conserve energy, reduce your expenses, and make your house safer, unplug it while it’s not in use. In the end, taking the additional step to disconnect may have a significant impact on creating a safer, more environmentally conscious, and economically stable world.
Never again will you have to worry about leaving your charger unattended; after all, safety comes first, and we don’t want that outlet to have a wild party!
