Then, there’s the time efficiency factor. This dip takes very little time to make from scratch. We’re talking about less than an hour here.
Another thing that makes this the best dip in the world is the fact that the ingredients aren’t too elaborate, and it involves the use of none of the usual allergens, except maybe green onions and cheese ( probably). INGREDIENTS :
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups sour cream (I used light)
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup sliced green onion
One important thing to note is that this recipe is only good for a couple of servings – about 2 to 4 servings – depending on the appetites of those that will be eating it, of course.
Weight watchers will be pleased to know that the more the number of people that eat from this single recipe, the less the amounts of calories consumed by one single person. That is, for a 2-4 person serving, about 339 cal gets divided up between 2-4 people.
