Follow these easy steps to create perfect stuffed bell peppers:

Step 1: Prepare the Peppers

  1. Remove the tops and seeds from the green peppers.
  2. Parboil the peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Filling

  1. In a skillet, combine ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess grease and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare the Rice Mixture

  1. Cook the Rice-A-Roni according to the package directions.
  2. Once the rice is cooked, combine it with the cooked beef and onion mixture. Mix well to combine.

Step 4: Assemble and Bake

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the parboiled peppers in a baking dish.
  3. Fill each pepper with the rice and beef mixture.

  6. Remove the foil and top each pepper with shredded cheddar cheese.
