Sauté the Vegetables
In an extra‑large heated skillet, add the olive oil. Sauté the diced onions and green pepper over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes, until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook until lightly browned. -
Brown the Meat
Add the ground chuck to the skillet and cook until browned through. Drain off any excess grease. -
Season and Combine
Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, basil, Italian seasoning, oregano, sea salt, and black pepper, mixing thoroughly to coat the meat. -
Build the Sauce
Add the crushed and diced tomatoes to the seasoned meat, stirring to combine. Pour in the tomato sauce and stir again. -
Simmer
Reduce heat to low, cover, and let the sauce simmer gently for 1 hour, allowing flavors to meld. -
Cook the Spaghetti
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add 1 Tbsp olive oil and the spaghetti, cooking for 7–8 minutes or until al dente. Drain well. -
Serve
