1 tbsp hoisin sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tbsp cornstarch

½ cup beef broth

1 tsp sugar

2 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)

1 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Cooked white rice (for serving)
