Whisk together melted butter, lemon juice, olive oil, and minced garlic in a bowl.
Drizzle the prepared mixture over the cod fillets.
Season the fish with salt and pepper.
Arrange thin lemon slices on top of the cod.
Bake uncovered for 10-12 minutes until the cod is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
