Simple Guava Leaf Tea Recipe

  1. Rinse the Leaves:
Wash the fresh guava leaves thoroughly under running water. No need to rinse if using dried leaves.
  2. Boil the Water:
Bring 2–3 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  3. Add the Guava Leaves:
Once the water is boiling, add the guava leaves to the pot.
  4. Simmer:
Reduce the heat to low and let the leaves simmer for 10–15 minutes to allow the beneficial compounds to infuse the water.
  5. Strain:
Remove the tea from heat and strain it into a cup using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to filter out the leaves.
  6. Optional Flavoring:
Enjoy as is, or enhance the flavor with a little honey or a squeeze of lemon.
  7. Enjoy:
Pour yourself a soothing cup of tea. For best results, drink it 1–2 times a day.
