  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 pound pappardelle noodles
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
