One-Pan Bold Honey BBQ Chicken Rice

Instructions:

1. Sear the Chicken:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of oil.
Season the diced chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Sear for about 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides.

2. Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix BBQ sauce and honey until smooth.
Pour the mixture over the chicken and stir to coat every piece evenly.

3. Add Rice & Broth:
Pour in the rice and chicken broth. Stir gently, making sure the rice is evenly distributed and submerged.
Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 18–20 minutes.

4. Finish the Dish:
Once the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through, remove the lid and fluff the rice gently with a fork.
Let any remaining liquid absorb for 2–3 minutes with the lid off.

5. Serve:
Scoop straight from the pan and enjoy the bold, sticky BBQ-glazed chicken paired with tender rice — all in one bite!
