Oh my! MeMe’s Church Salad will remind you of your favorite dishes that can be found at the best potluck dinners
Instructions:
Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy.
Add Fruits: Gently fold in the drained crushed pineapple, sliced strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or blackberries, and chopped nuts (if using) into the cream cheese mixture until evenly distributed.
Fold in Whipped Topping: Carefully fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined, being careful not to deflate the mixture.
Add Vanilla Extract: Stir in the vanilla extract to enhance the flavor of the fruit salad.
Transfer to Dish: Transfer the fruit salad mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish or a large freezer-safe container, spreading it out evenly.
Freeze: Cover the dish with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and place it in the freezer to freeze until firm, at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serve: Once the fruit salad is frozen, remove it from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving. Cut into squares or scoop into bowls to serve.
