When Alyssa looked across the waiting room and froze, she believed it would be another typical doctor’s appointment.

Her husband, Jack, who had just texted her to say he was “busy at work,” was sitting a few feet away. Alyssa was shaken and confused, and she immediately ducked behind a magazine to attempt to process what she was seeing.

Alyssa was shocked when her younger sister Patrice showed up moments later, appearing upset, and Jack helped her out of the clinic. Alyssa’s mind was racing with concerns about betrayal and falsehoods, and her heart fell.
