* 3–4 fresh okra pods
* 2 cups water
* A slice of lemon or a spoon of honey (optional)
Instructions
1. Wash the okra pods thoroughly.
2. Cut off the ends and slice them lengthwise.
3. Place them in a small pot with two cups of water.
4. Boil for 10–15 minutes until the water takes on a light green color.
5. Strain the liquid into a glass and let it cool slightly.
6. Drink warm, ideally in the morning on an empty stomach.

* For added flavor and freshness, squeeze in a little lemon juice before drinking.
