Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- Zest of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Season the salmon: Pat the fillets dry and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Sear the salmon: In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Cook salmon skin-side down (if applicable) for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining butter, garlic, honey, lime juice, and zest. Stir and simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the salmon: Add salmon back to the pan, spoon sauce over, and heat for 1 more minute.
- Garnish & serve: Top with fresh parsley and serve with lime wedges.
