This is the perfect make-ahead dessert for holidays, birthdays, or any occasion when you want to seriously impress. Or just a cozy weekend night when you’re craving something epically decadent and comforting.

No matter when or why you bake it up, I can guarantee this brownie pie will have you and your loved ones going weak in the knees after one luscious bite. It’s chocolate bliss in dessert form!

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips divided
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Hot fudge sauce for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch pie plate or springform pan with non-stick spray.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and 2 cups of the chocolate chips together in 30 second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla together with a hand mixer on medium-high speed for 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • With the mixer on low, slowly stream in the slightly cooled melted chocolate mixture until fully incorporated.
  • Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt just until combined. Then fold in the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pie plate or springform pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the center is puffed up and the top is crackly. The center will still be quite jiggly.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool completely at room temperature.
  • Once cooled, slice and serve with hot fudge sauce drizzled over the top.

Serving Suggestions

  • For an extra flourish, top each slice with whipped cream, ice cream, or chocolate shavings.
  • Enjoy this gooey brownie pie slightly warm or at room temperature.
  • Leftovers can be stored covered at room temperature for 2-3 days.

Let me know if you bake up this decadent chocolate dream! I can’t wait to hear if you love this gooey brownie pie as much as I do. Prepare for pure fudgy bliss!
