Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2️⃣ In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink (about 8-10 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.
3️⃣ Transfer beef mixture to a 9.5-inch pie plate, spreading evenly. Sprinkle salt over the meat.
4️⃣ In a bowl, whisk together coconut flour, almond flour, and baking powder.
5️⃣ Add almond milk and eggs to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth.
6️⃣ Pour batter evenly over the meat, letting it soak in slightly.
7️⃣ Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese over the top.
8️⃣ Bake for 25 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
9️⃣ If adding toppings (tomato slices, etc.), remove pie from oven after initial baking.
🔟 Add tomato slices (if using) and sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese over the top.
1️⃣1️⃣ Return to oven for 5 more minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
