Directions:
Wash the eggshells.
Wash the eggshells well with warm water to get rid of any leftover egg. Cook them in boiling water for a short time to clean them if you want.
Allow them to dry thoroughly.
Break the eggshells:
After they are dry, break the eggshells into smaller pieces so they can dissolve better when soaked.
Soak the eggshells in water.
Put the broken eggshells in a jar or container with 1 quart of water.
Put a lid on the container and leave the eggshells in it for 1-2 days at room temperature. The water will get murky when the minerals are let go.
Filter the water.
