Computers, smartphones, smartwatches and any other digital device are part of our daily lives. And without realizing it, they are taking up more and more space and space in our routine. But is this excessive use, especially of mobile phones, without dangers?
Several studies and research have highlighted the danger of electromagnetic rays produced by mobile phones.
The dangers of cell phones
Indeed, according to Dr. Devra Davis, cell phones emit radiation that can disrupt resonance and modify the body’s DNA. She confirms her statements with the case of a young woman who developed breast cancer even though no hereditary factor was involved. In fact, this young woman used to put her cell phone in her bra, as she recalls in an article .
This highlights the fact that keeping your mobile phone close to your body, i.e. in your trouser or shirt pockets for example, could lead to health risks. There is no study to prove this today, but scientists have serious suspicions.
A 2009 study also highlighted the fact that wearing cell phones around the hips and pelvis can weaken the pelvic region. Researchers used an X-ray technique to diagnose and monitor the health of patients with osteoporosis. They measured pelvic bone density in 150 men who regularly wore their cell phones attached to their belts for about 5 hours a day for 6 years. The study concluded that cell phones affect bone mineral density. In addition, cell phone radiation was also found to impact sperm quality and quantity in men.
A link between cell phones and cancer has also been made since a group of Israeli researchers reported a sharp increase in tumors of the parotid gland, which is the largest salivary gland located in the cheek. They found that between 1970 and 2006, the number of cases of parotid gland cancer quadrupled. In addition, Dr. Siegal Sadetzki published a study in 2008 on the risks of developing cancer depending on our use of cell phones. The results show that:
