Deep Fried Lobster Tails

Instructions:

Prepare lobster tails: Thaw frozen tails overnight. Cut down the center of the top shell and gently remove the meat.

Marinate: Combine buttermilk, Old Bay seasoning, and garlic in a bowl. Marinate lobster tails for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare batter: Mix flour, lemon pepper seasoning, paprika, and baking powder in a separate bowl.

Set up frying station: Heat butter and oil in a deep fryer or pot to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a plate lined with paper towels.

Coat and fry: Remove lobster tails from buttermilk mixture, dredge in flour mixture, and fry until golden brown and crispy (3-5 minutes).

Drain and serve: Remove lobster tails from oil with a slotted spoon and place on the paper towel-lined plate. Let cool slightly before serving.
