Creamy Tuscan Chicken Recipe
Introduction
Creamy Tuscan Chicken is a rich and indulgent dish inspired by Italian flavors, combining juicy chicken breasts with a luscious garlic cream sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh spinach, and Parmesan cheese. It’s the perfect comforting meal that feels fancy but is surprisingly easy to prepare at home.
Ingredients
Protein: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Seasonings: 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika, salt & pepper to taste
Oils & Liquids: 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 cup heavy cream, 1/2 cup chicken broth
Cheese: 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Vegetables & Herbs: 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped), 2 cups fresh spinach, 4 cloves garlic (minced), fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
Season the Chicken: Coat the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Add Tomatoes & Spinach: Mix in chopped sun-dried tomatoes and fresh spinach. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until spinach wilts.
Finish the Dish: Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Let it simmer for 5 more minutes to absorb all the flavors.
Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot. Perfect with pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
