- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Prepare the Cake Batter
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the sugar and melted butter together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition until fully incorporated.
