Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for best flavor)
Salt and pepper, to taste
4 slices Swiss cheese
8 slices rye bread
1 large onion, thinly sliced
4 tablespoons butter
Optional: mustard or mayonnaise, for spreading
Instructions:
Preparing the Patty:
- Shape the Patties: Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and form each into a thin patty slightly larger than the bread slices. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
