CHILI CHEESE DOG BAKE

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Arrange the hot dog buns in a single layer in the prepared baking dish, with the cut sides facing up.

Place a hot dog into each bun, nestling it inside.

In a medium saucepan, heat the chili over medium heat until heated through.

Pour the heated chili over the hot dogs, evenly distributing it across the dish.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chili, covering the hot dogs and chili completely.

If desired, scatter diced onions and pickled jalapeños over the cheese for added flavor and texture.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove the Chili Cheese Dog Bake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Serve the chili cheese dogs hot, accompanied by ketchup and mustard for dipping or drizzling.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or green onions, if desired, for a pop of freshness.
