Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casserole

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Prepare Mixture: In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

Add Chicken & Bacon: Stir in the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, and 1 ½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese.

Layer the Casserole: Spread the mixture evenly into the greased baking dish. Arrange the frozen tater tots on top in a single layer.

Bake: Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy.

Add Cheese & Finish Baking: Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese over the top and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Garnish & Serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and serve hot.

Notes

Short on time? Use rotisserie chicken for an easy shortcut.

Make it spicy: Add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper for extra heat.

Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
