Step 3: Assemble the Pastries

  1. Spoon a small amount of apple filling into the center of each pastry square.

  2. Top with a drizzle of caramel sauce.

  3. Place another piece of puff pastry on top (if making closed pockets), or fold over into triangles.

  4. Seal edges with a fork to prevent leaks.

  5. Brush tops with egg wash for golden color.

Step 4: Bake

  1. Bake in preheated oven for 18–22 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.

  2. Remove from oven and cool slightly.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce.

  2. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.

  3. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
