Baked Salmon in Foil with Asparagus and Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place a large sheet of aluminum foil on a baking sheet.

Arrange the asparagus spears in a single layer in the center of the foil. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of melted butter and season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Set aside.

Place the salmon fillets on top of the asparagus, and generously brush them with the remaining melted butter. Season the salmon with salt and pepper.

Drizzle the lemon garlic butter sauce over the salmon fillets, making sure to evenly distribute the mixture.

Carefully fold the sides of the foil over the salmon and asparagus, creating a tight seal. Be sure to leave a little room for heat circulation.

Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Once cooked, carefully open the foil packet, garnish with fresh dill, and serve immediately.
