Before leaving for your trip, simply place a dry sheet of white paper in your sink and turn a clean glass upside down on top of it.
That’s it.
When you come back, check the setup:

If everything is exactly as you left it, great — no water leaks.

If the paper is damp or the glass has shifted, water has entered your sink while you were away, signaling a plumbing issue or a faucet leak.
