  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) cubed butter
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Prepare the Cake Batter

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the sugar and melted butter together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition until fully incorporated.
