How To Make Old Fashioned Custard Pie You Need :
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 2-2/3 cups milk
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Steps to Make an Old-Fashioned Custard Pie
Step 1: Heat the oven to 350°F.
Step 2: In a medium-sized bowl, using a hand mixer or whisk, beat the eggs slightly. Add in sugar, salt, nutmeg, milk, and vanilla and beat well until combined (mixture will be somewhat thin).
Step 3: Carefully pour the liquid into the pie shell that hasn’t been baked yet, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
