1 large onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp dried thyme

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

8 oz egg noodles

2 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
