Why It’s Better Not to Shower Right Before Bed
Taking a hot bath or shower right before sleeping might seem relaxing, but in reality, it has many negative effects. Now we explore the evidence that support showering before bed might be not as good as we once thought.
1. It may cause you to gain weight.
Having a delicious dinner and taking a hot shower right after is a perfect way to end the day and finally go to bed. However, in reality, going the shower after eating might affect your digestive system and cause to weight gain. If you absolutely need to wash out the day in the evening, it’s better to wait at least 30 minutes after having a dinner.
2. It’s bad for your hair.

Showering right before bed makes your hair still wet. Sleeping with damp hair will cause your pillowcase to absorb moisture and create a perfect warm and humid environment for harmful bacteria to develop. This lead to many scalp problems, such as itchiness, irritation, and dandruff.
3. You might not be able to fall asleep easily.
