Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 3/4 cups mixed frozen vegetables
- 5 cups water
- 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup macaroni, uncooked
Instructions:
- Brown the Ground Beef:
- In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add Soup Mix and Water:
- Stir in the onion soup mix and 5 cups of water. Bring to a boil.
- Add Vegetables and Tomatoes: Once boiling, add the mixed frozen vegetables and the can of diced tomatoes (with juice). Stir well.
- Cook the Macaroni:
- Add the uncooked macaroni to the pot. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender.
- Season to Taste:
- Taste the soup and adjust seasoning if necessary (add salt, pepper, or other spices as desired).
- Serve:
- Ladle the soup into bowls and enjoy!
Tips:
- Variations: You can add other vegetables or beans for extra nutrition.
- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stove or in the microwave.
