Sometimes, telling jokes at the right moment can make awkward situations more fun and boring moments more enjoyable.
Late at night, a husband sent a message to his wife, requesting her to wash his dirty clothes and make his favorite meal before he got back home. However, no one answered.
Unfazed, he sent another message boasting about getting a raise and saying he wanted to buy her a new car. A little while later, the wife replied quickly, saying, “Oh my God, really?” The husband smartly answered,
“No, I just wanted to make sure you received my first message.” What a surprise!
In a different story, a man came back home and found his wife of ten years getting ready to leave. Surprised, he asked her where she was going. She replied, “I’m going to Las Vegas!” I found out that there are men who are willing to give me $500 in cash for the things I do for you without charge!
Surprised by what she said, the man stopped for a moment and began packing his things. When his wife asked why he was acting suddenly, he calmly said, “I’m going to Las Vegas with you…”. I want to see how you will do with only $1,000 a year! What he said made her unable to speak.
